13th Pancyprian Strawberry Festival Deryneia Municipality 24/05/24

We joined the UN in commemorating the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, turning our attention to reaffirming and highlighting the astounding potential open intercultural dialogue holds in achieving peace and promoting sustainable development.

With this in mind, our Intercultural Integration in Cyprus team alongside the Civil Registry and Migration Department joined the 13th Pancyprian Strawberry Festival in Deryneia. We offered information and updates about the work of the Intercultural Integration programme in promoting cultural exchange and inclusion in the Famagusta region.

Our presence at the Festival also served as an excellent opportunity for us to answer questions and offer guidance to migrants, helping them navigate and smoothen their integration journey in Cyprus.

19th Medieval Ayia Napa Festival 13/10/24

The 19th Medieval Ayia Napa Festival, held from October 12 to 19, 2024, celebrated medieval culture with a variety of events including parades, music and dance performances, street theater, and storytelling.

During the 19th Medieval Ayia Napa Festival, your project “Enhancing Structures and Policies for Intercultural Integration in Cyprus Famagusta District” was promoted through a booth. This provided an opportunity to engage with attendees and disseminate information about the initiative, focusing on fostering intercultural dialogue and integration within the local community.
